Ferris State University was founded by Woodbridge N. Ferris in 1884. Today, our institution carries on his philosophy of education. Ferris is known nation-wide for our career-oriented, technical and professional programs.
I serve as the associate director of advancement services and technology at Ferris. One of my primary duties is managing the design and content of the Alumni Online Community
The Web Community at FSU is the team that develops and maintains the University Web site. I am the web developer for the division of University Advancement and Marketing
I received my master's in information systems management, summa cum laude, in May 2003. My focus area is internet/ebusiness and database administration. I plan on continuing my education by taking more classes in database administration, as well as data security.
Some of my hobbies include birding, reading, needlework and beading. I also like working with web design (sometimes day and night to the frustration of my family!) I also enjoy sports, especially hockey. I am a CCHA off-ice official and keep score for the Ferris State Bulldog Hockey team.
